A 2,500 sq ft Mumbai apartment where global luxury brands meet deeply personal comfort.
THE BRIEF
The clients came with a clear brief: cosmopolitan, confident, and completely their own. A home that could hold Roberto Cavalli and a fish tank with equal ease. A space that felt international in its references but intimate in its atmosphere. At ZERO9, we took that brief and built a home where every room has a distinct character — and every detail has a reason.
THE LIVING ROOM
The living area sets the tone immediately. Blush and charcoal velvet sofas with gold trim anchor the room, paired with a mauve ostrich feather floor lamp that becomes the quiet star of the space. A diamond-pattern statement wall, crystal fringe chandelier, and floor-to-ceiling city views complete the picture. The furniture throughout the living and dining areas draws from Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors and Fendi Casa — Italian luxury that wears itself lightly. Lighting by Flos brings precision and warmth in equal measure. Wall panels by Alex Turco add a layer of painterly drama that no wallpaper could replicate.

THE BAR & DINING
The 10-foot bar counter is the social heart of this home — and beneath it, a custom aquarium by Mad Over Fish turns an everyday element into a conversation piece that never gets old. The bar backdrop is clad in SICIS gold mosaic surfaces, creating a wall of shimmer that reads differently at every hour. The dining area continues the material richness with a marble table, gold-trim chairs, and a Flos crystal chandelier overhead. Stone surfaces throughout the home — from bar to bathroom — are sourced from Stonex, whose material depth gives every surface its quiet authority.

THE MEDIA ROOM
A concealed media room sits behind the social spaces — monochrome striped flooring, deep blue cloud-pattern wallpaper, Boca do Lobo gold mirror-finish coffee tables, and a crystal chandelier. Designed to balance cinematic atmosphere with relaxed comfort. The home automation throughout — lighting scenes, AV integration, blind control — is handled seamlessly by Beyond Automation, ensuring that every mood the room can create is just one touch away.

THE MASTER SUITE
The master bedroom pairs warm wooden slat ceilings with a Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors bed and a designer abstract ink art installation as the headboard wall. The master bathroom is fully clad in Stonex dark marble — floor, walls, and ceiling — with a sunken bathtub, gold fringe chandelier, and Venetian mirror. Tactile, immersive, and completely uncompromising.

THE CHILDREN'S ROOMS
The daughter's bedroom is built around a motorised round bed, rose mural wallpaper, and a soft pink-and-white palette — playful without being childish. The son's room leans into full storybook energy: a race car bed, superhero mural wallpaper, and a colour-drenched shelving wall. Both bathrooms carry their rooms' personalities through to the last tile.
THE POOJA ROOM
Gold Venetian plaster walls, Mughal arch niches in navy blue with brass lotus diyas, a Moroccan pendant lamp, and a hand-embroidered Tree of Life curtain. The Pooja room is where the home's Indian soul surfaces most clearly — quietly, beautifully, and without compromise.
