Located in Indore, India’s cleanest city, inDairé is a thoughtfully designed 3,000 sq.ft., 4-BHK apartment that blends modern functionality with emotional warmth. Conceptualized and planned entirely during the nationwide lockdown, the project was remotely managed through virtual site walkthroughs and video calls — with the first physical visit only occurring mid-execution. Upon arrival, the 10-foot-high ceilings and sweeping views over Indore’s low-rise skyline delivered a feeling of being truly up in the air — inspiring the apartment’s name.

Smart Planning, Minimal Intervention

The layout was subtly reconfigured to align with the client's lifestyle, achieving maximum efficiency with minimal civil changes. Spaces were articulated to serve distinct purposes:

  • A serene Mandir for reflection

  • A spacious guest bedroom with minimalist elegance

  • An expansive living and dining zone for social gatherings

  • A functional kitchen with a green balcony garden

  • A dreamlike kids' bedroom and adventure room

  • And a cozy yet stylish master suite with WFH functionality

Living & Dining – Social, Open, Airy

The heart of the home is the east-west facing living room, flanked by balconies on either end that allow for cross-ventilation and abundant natural light. Designed to host 10–12 guests comfortably, the space features a custom 10-seater dining table made with grey Dekton tile, standing as the central element. A splash of personal warmth comes from artworks created by the family during lockdown — stories on the walls.

The main balcony offers a daily spectacle of sunsets over the Indore skyline, while the kitchen balcony doubles up as a spice garden with herbs, lime, and seasonal greens.

Guest Bedroom – Quiet Elegance

Simplicity and art define the guest bedroom, with Claymen sculptures set against a rich brown backdrop, exuding a grounded and emotional depth that invites pause.

Kids Bedroom & Adventure Room – Designed for Imagination

A fairytale-inspired kids’ bedroom features a canopy bed, custom butterfly lights, and a pastel-accented study desk — all within an airy, all-white room. Adjoining it is the adventure room, a versatile, furniture-free space filled with a monkey bar, a reading corner, a world map backdrop, and a dedicated art zone — fostering creativity and movement.

Master Bedroom – Comfort with Character

Earthy, bold, and comforting, the master suite features a 15-foot live-edge wooden headboard set against an olive green accent wall, paired with herringbone wooden flooring. A private balcony offers a quiet outdoor moment, while a tucked-in study corner seamlessly supports remote work needs.

Kitchen, Utility & Support Spaces

The light-toned kitchen offers high functionality and connects to a service kitchen, a laundry and storage area, and dedicated staff quarters — ensuring practical flow without compromising aesthetics.

Design Approach

With a focus on functional planning, comfort-driven details, and a modern aesthetic that reflects the client's personality, inDairé is a home born out of constraints — yet elevated in every sense. It exemplifies adaptive living and timeless design in the heart of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
