Located in the growing city of Chandrapur, this multi-use property is a thoughtfully designed structure that seamlessly integrates commercial and residential spaces. The building features a functional basement for services and storage, a spacious supermarket on the ground floor catering to the neighborhood, and well-planned office spaces above to support local businesses.

The upper levels house a private residence designed for comfort and exclusivity, complete with a dedicated party terrace ideal for social gatherings and family events. The architecture balances utility and aesthetics, offering a modern façade that reflects the mixed-use character of the property.

Strategically located, the property maximizes space efficiency while creating a landmark building that serves multiple purposes — retail, work, and living — all under one roof in the heart of Chandrapur.

Between the Lines

Q1. What was the primary design vision for this project?
The goal was to create a multi-functional landmark that efficiently combines commerce, workspace, and residence — enabling the building to stay active throughout the day while maintaining a distinct sense of purpose for each zone.

Q2. How does the design respond to the growing urban context of Chandrapur?
As Chandrapur evolves into a modern urban hub, the building is designed to serve the community’s evolving needs — from retail convenience to business infrastructure and premium living — all integrated within one cohesive architectural framework.

Q3. What functions are accommodated within the structure?
The project seamlessly layers different uses:

  • Basement – for services, utilities, and storage.

  • Ground floor – a spacious supermarket catering to the neighborhood.

  • Mid-level floorsoffices for local businesses and professionals.

  • Upper floors – a private residence with a dedicated party terrace for personal gatherings and leisure.

Q4. How did you balance the commercial and residential components architecturally?
By designing clear functional separations yet maintaining visual continuity. The façade uses a unified material palette and geometry, ensuring both parts of the building feel connected while serving distinct purposes efficiently.

Q5. What role does the façade play in defining the building’s identity?
The façade reflects the project’s mixed-use nature — modern, minimal, and functional. It projects the professional character of the lower floors while offering privacy and openness for the residential zones above, achieving harmony between public and private expression.

Q6. How is space efficiency achieved across such varied uses?
Through strategic stacking and circulation planning — ensuring smooth vertical and horizontal transitions between retail, work, and living spaces. Dedicated access points and service cores keep operations efficient without overlap.

Q7. What makes the residential zone distinct within the mixed-use structure?
The residence on the upper floors is designed as a private sanctuary — spacious, well-ventilated, and connected to a party terrace that overlooks the city. It offers comfort, exclusivity, and privacy even within a bustling multi-use building.

Q8. How does the design promote long-term functionality?
The building is planned for adaptability — commercial floors can evolve with market demands, offices can expand or reconfigure, and the residential unit remains timeless. This ensures sustainability and relevance over decades.

Q9. What design elements contribute to its landmark character?
Its balanced proportions, clean lines, and modern façade articulation make it stand out without overwhelming the context. The building is recognizable for its clarity and purpose, symbolizing progress in Chandrapur’s growing skyline.

Q10. In one line, how would you describe this project?
A modern, multi-use landmark that unites commerce, work, and living — redefining functional architecture in the heart of Chandrapur.
